What is the difference between Remedial massage and Oncology Massage Therapy?


Remedial massage and current modalities came out of the muscle- skeletal model. Oncology massage doesn’t try to fix, change or make better. Oncology Massage Therapy (OMT) adapts massage to safely nurture the body, mind and spirit of anyone dealing with cancer. We decrease the speed of the stroke and use very light pressure that is gentle and nurturing. Oncology Massage Therapy creates a safe space of comfort and peace.




How can Oncology Massage benefit me?

Is oncology massage only for those with a cancer diagnosis??

Eden Wellness therapists bring everything they need to ensure you have a warm relaxing massage, linen, oils and the music. All you need to do is enjoy and relax and afterward you can stay in the comfort of your cosy home and no need to drive.




How do I choose the right therapist for me ?


A recommendation is a great way to start, however just because your friend loves their massage/reflexologist they may or may not not be the right fit for you and vice versa.
